Ad Specs:
Sizes are listed in inches, width x height. Bleed sizes include a .125" bleed. Place text .375" from edge of bleed (to ensure type does not get trimmed off). Trim size of magazine is 8.375" X 10.50"

Safety: Keep live matter .375" from outer edges and gutter.

Digital requirements:
We accept files in the following formats:
- Adobe Acrobat: Press Quality PDF
- InDesign: Preferred Program. CS2 or lower. Must include all fonts and resource files place in layout.
- QuarkXPress: V6.5 or lower, we cannot accept Quark 7.0. Please include all fonts and resource files placed in layout. Do not
apply "local" style attributs (bold, italic)
- Photoshop: 300 dpi resolution. Save file as a TIFF or EPS (DCS off). If file contains fonts, flatten to one layer and save as EPS
- Illustrator: Images must be embedded, not linked. Convert all fonts to outlines. Save as an EPS
Basic Requirements for Ads:
All colors and images must be CMYK, no spot colors. Image resolution must be 300 dpi.
Not accepted:
MS Publisher files, PC Platform files, Quark 7.0 files. PC Platform files and/or other programs used are not guaranteed to work and may cause extensive file work conversion or typesetting. This will result in production charges. Please be sure to include all fonts and linked graphics. All art must be CMYK (no spot colors, RGB or PMS).
Acceptable media:
- DVD, CD. Please include one color proof sized at 100% which match file exactly. Full page ads must have document size set to 8.375" x 10.50". For bleed ads, please see ad specs on right.

Ad production charges:
Ads requiring production services are due by Insertion Order Date. Quotes provided upon request. Any work performed to make ad materials digital (pubsetting, type patches, etc) or to correct/update/prepare disks for output will result in a production charge.
